Inception Level Checklist

When reviewing a use case, answer yes or no to the following questions. If the answer is no, explain why it was no. All reviews should be held in the use case's discussion page.

Completeness

  • Does the use case have a high level description?
  • Have the actors been identified for the use case?
  • Does the use case have a main flow?
  • Have pre and post conditions been identified for the use case?
  • Does the use case have a picture?
  • Has the use case been traced to a high level requirement?

Clarity

  • Does the main flow make sense?
  • Does the use case use language that is consistent with the identified glossary?
  • Have assumptions been enumerated in a way that makes sense?
  • Are wiki links used appropriately to reference domain objects, other use cases, or information references when appropriate?

Correctness

  • Is the picture accurate?
  • Are there open questions?
  • Has the use case been approved by the client?
