Two different teams (we and Dave) are working on the project concurrently – on two copies of the same data model that needs to be integrated by June 10th; the two teams may have evolved separately into incompatible forms. |

Communication with Dave |
Get Dave’s latest SQL scripts through KD. Find out the things that can’t be done in Erwin. Send the explanation back to Dave and ask him to change his data model so that it can be incorporated to ERWin. Get the Dave’s new SQL script back and reverse engineer it in ERWin. If problems are faced then just do the best guess strategy and update the data model in ERWin. This would be the final data model to be used by Dave and Gryphon. |
|
Customer and team have different “pictures of success” / priorities; there is a significant potential for conflict when deciding on the progress of the project. |

Customer feedback |
Continual negotiations |

We have gotten bogged down in process, scoping and analysis; this could continue to happen. |

Monitor process vs. development time |
Adjust tasks if we do too much process work |
|
Caught between customer needs and pressure to reduce scope – both realistic issues; Might take on more than we can deliver. |
