 | Pedro Faria
Pedro Faria holds a BSc in Informatics Engineering from University of Minho and is a Senior
Consultant at Novabase since 2007. He has faced different responsibilities, fruitful challenges
and experiences. He started has a software developer, worked in the billing systems
department at Vodafone and has now the role of Team Leader (in R&D) and Solutions
Architect. The most recent experience was a project in the biggest Telecom Operator in
Kenya where he assumed the role of Business Analyst. Traveling to Kenya was a perfect
match to his interests since he is an enthusiastic admirer of nature and wildlife. Football
(a.k.a soccer) is a great interest and also cinema, particularly Tarantino |
 | Rui Nelson Santos
Rui Santos is a Senior Professional at Novabase Business Intelligence, where he as been
working since 2006, after he graduated in Informatics Engineering at Universidade Nova de
Lisboa. Most recently he has worked for DGITA, the Portuguese Internal Revenue Service, in
Decision Support Systems with special focus on fraud detection. Rui enjoys practicing sports,
and was part of the DGITA futsal team, he also listens to indie music and tries to live a
healthy lifestyle. |
 | João Bica Osório
João Osório has been working at Portugal Telecom Innovation S.A. for the last 4 years.
Previously he had also done a half year part-time at WIT-Software while finishing his
academic degree of Informatics Engineering at University of Coimbra.
Mostly, he has worked for the Operation Support Systems division. His latest work was on a
Network Activation and Mediation product where he held the responsibilities for: release
management, configuration management and core architecure, while doing active
development of the core. João likes sports, math and physics... But mostly he likes to spend
time with friends and anyone who has a sense of humor. |
 | Paulo Patrício
Paulo holds a Graduate Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from
FCT/UNL. Currently working at Novabase, he has worked before in three other companies
covering Telecommunications (EDP and Nokia Siemens Networks) and Petrol Services
(Petrotec) Markets for 9 years. He is a proud father of a 4 years old boy, and besides
culture interests, Paulo is sports enthusiastic, especially for extreme sports. |
 | João Rufino
João Rufino has been working in the industry for over 10 years, after receiving his B.Sc.
in Informatics Engineering at the University of Coimbra. In 2001, he joined ALERT Life
Sciences Computing, where he has been developing clinical information systems for the
healthcare market. João had many different roles at ALERT, from programmer to project manager
and lead software architect. João enjoys sports and traveling. He's married to Adriana and
is the proud father of 5-year-old Pedro. |
